As we kept running for our lives, I heard what sounded like a loud clucking sound of someone hitting wood very hard. I stopped and turned to see what was going on. Because it sounded like it was coming from the cliff we had just jumped down from. To my surprise it was a white horse that was with the guards kicking at the side of a dam.

“Now why would it do that?” I thought to myself. My eyes then grew wide at what I saw next. The dam was braking a part.
“Oh no not good not good at all.” I said to myself.

That was when I started running again and as I began to pass everyone in our group. I yelled at them. “The horse is trying to break the dam!”
Every one stopped and looked to see if what I said was even really happening. “Ugh people never seem to listen anymore…” I thought to myself as I ran back.

That was when they all saw the white horse kicking with his back legs and knocking the wood out of place. What was worse now was water was starting to come out of the holes and cracks. I was not standing around any longer now. I saw Karin who was the closes to me in reach I grabbed her by her hand and began to run for it.

“Ooh!” she yelped out. That got every ones attention back to running. “Miss. Rin-chan. I cannot run as fast as you.” Said Karin.

“Okay up we go.” I said as I picked her up like she was light as a feather. I began to run faster than everyone else once more.

“Wait up Rin.” Called out John.

That was when Lee brought out his glider and grabbed John within one swoop and off they went.

“Miss. Rin-chan what about the others?” said Karin as she looked back at them.

By this time the dam was broken and I could hear Rapunzel and Flynn’s running footsteps but the water was closing in on them. “Don’t worry the water will wash them to higher grounds in a flash.” I said to Karin.

At least that is what I thought would happen. But after Karin, and I got to a hill side full of big trees we saw the water rush just below us both. I scanned the waters as far as I could see up stream but saw nothing. Nor did I hear anything. My heart raced in my chest. I was not sure what to do if they did not come soon.

Just then Lee made a landing near us. Karin rushed over to him and gave him a big hug. “Glad to see you too Karin.” Said Lee with a happy grin.

“Um Lee-kun where is our captain?” asked Karin looking left and right.

“Oh about that….Hey Rin can you lend me a hand?” asked Lee.

I turned to him with tears in my eyes threating to fall. Karin seem to know why I was about to cry. I then said to them. “What do we do now? Rapunzel and Flynn…they have not come down the stream yet.” I choked out my words with tears.

Lee and Karin both lowered their heads and Karin began to sniffle as if she was going to cry next. But then all three of us heard a load snap, crash, and Gyaaaa, sound coming from up stream.

“Uh oh forgot about the captain.” Said Lee. “Um Karin can you help me with this one.” He said while pulling her arm.

Karin began to run with Lee but as she did. She called over to me, “Miss. Rin-chan, they will be alright. Our friends will be with us soon.”

I really hope she was right. I then slowly made my way up the rest of the hill and down the other side to where I had heard John’s scream. It seemed he was stuck in a tree a while ago. Lee must have landed him there thinking it was best at the time. And as I made my way down the last part of the hill I heard Karin talking to what sounded like another woman’s voice.

“Wait? Another girls voice…” I thought then I said that girls name out load. “Rapunzel!”

“Yes Rin?” she replied.

I looked up and there she was. Flynn too, they were both wet from top to bottom but they were okay. So was Pascal. I found myself running to the three of them and hugging the small group.

“What’s gotten in to her?” asked Flynn sounding out of breath as I let go after a moment.

“I thought you guys were not going to make it in that mess.” I said as tears were falling down my face again.

“Awe we are okay Rin. See right here in the flesh.” Said a smiling Rapunzel.

I then heard Lee and John from behind me coming out of the shrubs and John did not sound to happy what so ever. “Rin.” He said in a fowl tone to me.
I turned to him tares still falling down my face. John seemed to have noticed this and his face went from anger to worry and confusion next. He then asked me, “Why are you crying Rin?”

Flynn then told him everything that happened to the two of them being stuck in a cave in and water rising up until Rapunzel saved them both by finding a way out.

It was getting dark and we than started to set up camp in the woods. I was pretty tired from the whole day. But once night fell and the fire had been set I was about to crash for the night. When Flynn started to argue with Rapunzel.

“I am fine it’s just a little cut.” He said to her.

“No you’re not fine it could get worse let me heal it for you.” She said to him.

I got up and walked over to the log they both were sitting on and knelt down next to them and asked, “So are you two having a lover’s quarrel?”

Both Flynn and Rapunzel began to blush but at the same time said “NO!” to me.

“Okay if that is not the case then. How are you going to heal his cut Rapunzel?” I asked her.

“With my hair.” She said.

“So wait it does not just glow?” asked Flynn.

“Of course not silly. That would be a waste anyways you two just watch and don’t freak out alright.” She said.

Both Flynn and I looked at each other in wonder how this would work. As Rapunzel put some of her golden hair around Flynn’s hand she than began to sing.

“Flower, gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine

Heal what has been hurt
Change the Fates' design
Save what has been lost
Bring back what once was mine
What once was mine.”

Her hair glowed and shined like the sun itself. It was an amazing sight to see. But once the song was done the glow that came from Rapunzel’s hair faded away. I felt a warm and happy feeling from seeing what I saw. However when I turned to look at Flynn he did not seem to look to good. Let’s just say he was about to freak out.

“Please don’t Freak out.” Pleaded Rapunzel, she held her hands out in front of Flynn.

Flynn then looked at his hand and replied, “I-I’m not freaking out are you Rin? Because I am so not freaking out. In fact I am very much okay with your hair Rapunzel.”

I began to giggle at Flynn’s reaction and his stuttering voice made it even funnier. He was a good guy and I could tell.

“Well that is a relieve.” Said Rapunzel. “And thank you both of you for staying calm about my hair.” She gave a small smile.

Flynn nodded and then said, “Well I am going to go get more fire wood since the others are keeping watch just ahead of us.”

After Flynn left I felt tired all over again. As I got up I put my hand on the log, but then I felt a small amount of pain on my pinky finger where my orange daisy ring stayed on.

“Owch…” I said as I looked at my pinky it began to bleed a bit.

Rapunzel saw this right away and was about to grab her hair and my hand when I pulled away.

“Oh don’t worry Rapunzel. This cut will heal in a jiff.” I said.

“But doesn’t hurt Rin?” she asked with a bit of concern showing on her face.

I then knelt back down and showed her my hand by what I meant in a jiff. Rapunzel’s eyes grew wide as she saw my skin heal itself and was good as new. As if the cut never existed. Not even a scar was left behind.

“I don’t know why my body heals so fast?” I finally said. “But my body has always been able to do this since I was born I am guessing.”

“You must have something inside you. Magic that helps you to heal.” Said Rapunzel.

“I suppose so.” I said “But please don’t tell the others. The only one who knows that my body can do this sort of thing is my older sister Hasper.”

“Don’t worry Rin I won’t say a word. I never go back on my word.” She said. “But what is your sister like? Ive wondered what it would be like to have a brother or sister sometimes.”

“Well to start off with I think you would like her hair.” I said with a grin.

“Oh what color is it?” asked Rapunzel.

“She was born with blue hair because she is a magic user.” I said.

“Wow now I really want to meet your sister.” Said Rapunzel looking excited.

As I told her more about Hasper the more I began to miss her and the others. I hope they were all alright and took shelter by now with a warm fire like we had. Before I knew it, it was morning. And I hared Flynn, John, and Rapunzel shouting. But not at each other more like something else. Lee and Karin where next to me and both began to awaken too. Just what the heck was going on? I thought.

And what I found was a huge surprise to me. It was the white horse from the other day that had kicked down the dam. I bolded up and got in front of my friends. But Rapunzel then got in front of me.

“No Rin he’s on our side now. We made a truce or rather Flynn and Maximus did.” Said Rapunzel.

“Why?” I asked.

“Oh because today is my 18th birthday and all.” Replied Rapunzel.

“Oh okay….Wait your birthday? Why did you not say anything about it until now?” I said looking very dumbfounded I figured.

“Eh sort of slipped my mind on telling everyone.” She said.

“Happy birthday Miss. Rapunzel.” Said Karin with a kind smile.

“Hey it’s a birthday then lets go in town and have some cake.” Said Lee, with his goofy grin.

“Hey we need to stick with the plans hear you guys.” Said John.

“Plans what plans?” asked Flynn looking confused now.

I slapped my hand to my face at to John for nearly giving our Nightmare search and destroy plan away to locals.
Then an idea hit me to cover John’s mistake up. “Oh what John means is our first plan is for you and Rapunzel to go into town to have fun for her birthday and to see the flouting lanterns. While the rest of us try and find our other friends.” I said

“Yes that is what I meant to say.” Said John giving me a bit of a glare.

I just rolled my eyes when he was not looking and off we went. All I could do was hope for that we would find the others soon.
