AFL2 Part 3 Chapter 24

"These are really pretty trees." Rin told Allen. As they stepped through the forest. Some were Picea abies a type of pine. And others that in the woods were common Junipers. She then began to shiver as the wind began to pick up. She then looked up to the sky and saw snow was starting to fall. "Oh wow. Look Allen snow flakes." She said as she placed her hands that had mittens on out to touch the falling snow.

Allen smiled as he watched Rin walking around she then tried to get some with her mouth open wide. She was able to get one and she laughed.

"It's so cold. You should try it." she said.

Allen put his hand up in protest and said, "No that's okay. We should look at the map again. I think the Glaser's are further north." He took the map out from his bag. He looked at it for a moment and then pointed, "That's the way we want to go." as he rolled it back up.

Rin proceeded to follow Allen. The snow was falling faster and the ground was soon covered in it by a good few inches. Almost an hour went by when Rin began to feel very cold. The snow fall had thickened and it was getting harder to see. She then called out to Allen with panic in her voice. "Allen where are you?"

"Rin, I'm over here." He said as he came almost out of know where at that point.

"Are you sure we are going the right way?" She asked as she huddled and walked to him.

"I thought for sure we would be there by now." Allen said as he too began to feel cold. "Come one we have to find shelter." Allen said.

Rin tried to follow him but lost her footing. "Aah!" She screamed as she fell down in the cold snow.

Allen's heart jumped when he saw this. He went over to make sure Rin was okay. "Here take my hand." he said over the rushing sound of the wind.

"I-I-It's s-so co-cold out here." she said with chattering teeth. She huddled close to Allen in the snow storm trying to keep warm.

Allen pulled her close to him and said, "What have I gotten us into?" as they began to move again trying to find some kind of shelter.

Mean while Anna, Norrick and Olaf had just about made it to where Kristoff lived with his family of trolls. The snow did not seem to fall here from the heat that seeped through the rocks.

"We are just about there Norrick. Im sure your going to enjoy Kristoff and his family. But I am going to warn you trolls can be a bit well you will see." said Anna.

"Oh I always love coming here. The heat makes me think of summer. Ya know like a never ending summer." said Olaf. As he walked along his little snow flurry not far behind him.

"I just hope we can find them in time." Norrick said.

"Find who?" came a voice from below Norrick. He looked down and gasped at the rock that was in fact a troll.

"I take it you've never seen trolls before?" Anna asked.

"No I haven't" Norrick said.

The troll then turned and blinked 2 times and then smiled and said, "Anna!"

"Hey Cliff." she said as she knelt down to his level and gave him a hug. "Hey have you seen Kristoff or Sven?"

"Oh the lazy boys they are out napping again in the cave over there. By the way your not two timing Kristoff with this guy are you?" He asked as he looked back over to Norrick.

"What? No, no, no. He has a girlfriend of his own. Norrick come say hello to Cliff. Please be nice to him hes a guest staying at Arendelle." Anna explained.

"Ah okay I gotcha ya." said Cliff. He then gave a loud holler to the other rock trolls who where rolled up. "Hey guys we got a new comber."

The next thing Norrick knew was he was seeing rocks rolling all over the place and finally sounded by trolls that all looked similar but some how a bit different too. He gave a little wave and introduced himself, "Hi...I'm Norrick Princess Anna's guest."

They all stared in silence for a moment then yelled out, "Yay!" and began to cheer in happiness. So loudly Anna and Norrick had to cover their ears. It ended up waking up Kristoff and Sven in the end too.

Norrick saw the man who had to be Kristoff. He had blonde hair and light brown eyes and his clothing looked a bit worn but in tacked. He came out with a confused look on his face as he saw Anna, Olaf and Norrick for the first time. "What's going on with all the cheering guys? You woke me and Sven up for this?" said a cranky sounding Kristoff.

"Hi Kristoff, we need your help so get Sven and get ready to leave." said Anna as she handed him the rope and ice pick.

"Is someone in need of help?" Kristoff asked.

Norrick then took a step forward. "Yes my girlfriend Rin and my older brother Allen have gone missing and we think they are now lost in the snow storm. If you look up you will see what I mean."

Kristoff looked up and saw the huge clouds passing over them. "Oh that's not good." he said. "I have to find them fast."

"You? NO the 4 of us are going to look for them together." said Anna as she put her hands on her hips.

"What no your staying here where its safe Anna. I dont kneed you out there getting lost or hurt too. Your sister would not be happy." said Kristoff. He then called for Sven his reindeer. Out came Sven he was a big boy and strong looking too. "You two stay here you um your name?" Kristoff asked.

"Norrick." he said.

"Norrick your coming with us. Help me get the sled going." Kristoff said as Norrick and him began to leave.

"Well this is just great I have to stay behind not fair." Said Anna.

"Dont worry Anna you got us." said Cliff. "We will even tell you a good old story about Kristoff as a kid." he added.

Anna gave a giggle as she and Olaf sat down to listen in. "Oh I love hearing stories. Is it about summer?" Olaf asked.

Rin was shivering badly as the wind was blowing from behind them just then Allen thought he saw something that looked like a cave for a moment. He then said to Rin, "I think I see a cave up ahead. Lets walk to it and take shelter."

"Okay." Rin said as she stuck close to Allen.

And to their luck it was a cave at the side of a cliff side. Allen had to duck but Rin was fine standing up right. They sat down together trying to huddle for warmth. Allen knew Rin was in danger form the cold she was starting to look pale and her eyes kept popping open to stay awake. He moved his arms around her holding her as close and has tight as he could.

"This is all my fault. I should have never had us set foot out side the town." Allen said his voice full of worry.

Rin began to shiver even more as the minutes ticked by in silence. She thought this was going to be the end. She knew she did not have enough energy but she had to try to start a casting a fire spell. It would last as long as she had the will to keep her heart going fast enough and not have the ball of light over take her.

Rin took off one of her mittens and said in a chattering voice. "F-F-Fi-re with i-in." a flame came from her hand and the cave glowed in the warm heated light. Allen was stunned by this.

He smiled at the good job Rin did. He then turned to her and saw she was about to go out cold. "Rin stay with me! You can't go to sleep. You wont make it if you don't." He said as he held her up trying to keep her awake.

"Allen." She said in a weak voice. She crested her cold hand to his face and then leaned into his chest. "Your so warm Allen. That's good the...fire spell is working..." She was drifting off to sleep.

Allen began to panic as he held Rin close to him and said in scared and frantic voice. "Don't leave me Karin."

Her eyes opened and she smiled kindly at him. But then she said, "Norrick its okay."

Allen did not want to hear this. This was the last sort of thing he wanted to hear her saying his brothers name not his. "Why do you only think of him? Can't you see me as a man Rin? A man who is in love with you so much that I cant stand in. Please don't call my brother's name like that. Don't look at me with such a kind and loving look in your eyes when its not even meant for someone like me...." He was silent for a moment then he spoke again, "I really do love you Karin Soham. I really do." He then placed his warm tender lips over her soft cold ones. He continued to press her lips and hold her head and back up until he could feel her becoming warmer again.

Allen then finally felt her pressing back she opened her eyes and saw it was Allen who she was kissing back she pulled back and pushed him even though she was still cold and weak. She then recalled Allen's words his whole confession to her. She looked at him with shock more then anything within that moment.

Allen feeling frustrated by her moving away from him when she was still weak and cold pulled her back into his warm embrace. She was in to much of a shock to even pull out of it so she just let him hold her for the time being. He stoke her hair that had come undone in the cold winds and stoke her head gently. "I am not letting you go." he finally said.

Rin stiffened when he said this. She then tried to brake from his hold. But he was too strong. He then forced a kiss on her forehead. She spoke out to him, "Stop Allen." But he did no such thing. He then place another kiss over her cheek then her mouth again he forced himself upon her. Rin was too weak to push him off of her. She began to cry as he kept kissing her over and over he then moved his hands over hers and placed a kiss on her neck. Finally placing a kiss over her collar bone and biting down hard with his teeth. Rin did not even have the strength to scream out in pain. All she could do was cry.

When Allen finally lifted his head he saw that Rin was crying he looked at her with a cold gaze in his yellow and green eyes and said to her, "I marked you as mine and don't you forget it. And another thing don't even think about telling Norrick or anyone else of this understood." he said with an icy cold voice.

Rin gave a nod as she was able to sit up again. If Allen loved her so much why would he have done such a horrible thing to her just now. Rin felt so confused and scared. The magical fire grew brighter and bigger now that she was more awake. But she still felt cold she however did not want to huddle next to Allen for what he just did. But she did not want to freeze either.

"A-Allen?" She called, "Can...I-I sit next t-to you please..." she said.

"Yes Rin you can. Come here and we can keep warmer together that way. He said with a kind smile.

What made Allen change all of a sudden. He was now back to his normal kind self again. She was not sure but sat beside him once more until the storm could pass. Rin looked down to her unbutton top the first two buttons had been opened she saw the bight mark from where Allen had bitten her. She closed her shirt up as fast as she could and put her pink scarf on again. Just what did Allen mean by he marked her as his? she was not wanting to know the answer to that right now. So she was going to do her best and pretend it did not happen at all for the time being. She just hoped help would come soon and the storm would pass.
