Damn, this is a hard one. I'm going to have to say Han though, for his rough around the edges finish and the fact he's still a good guy. (Other candidates include Yoda. Who would expect a green toad to be a great warrior? Darth Vader for sheer presence. Leia, a tough, no-nonsense lady. Chewbacca, the ever loyal companion and I LOVE his crossbow. Luke, a great pilot and new Jedi knight. Wedge Antilles, not listed for obvious reasons, but I love his story arc of being a normal guy who sweeps through. C3PO, because this guy supplies most of the humour in the original trillogy. R2D2 because he's so damn brave and indestructable. I'm sure I've missed a few.)
