Big beautiful blue hydrangeas. :D I grew up with them and a southern Summer wouldn't be right without 'em! Magnolia flowers are beautiful too. :)

I have seen those. Hydrangeas are a lovely flower. If I am not mistaken they grow on a vine? :)

The variety I grew up with and most of the ones seen around here are bush varieties. verdego.com/dev/wp-content/upl… <-- Like that. :) But I do believe there are some that are a climbing variety as well! My favorite are the "mophead" bush variety, their flowers change from blue to purple to pink depending on the PH of your soil. I'm partial to the blue myself! :)

Oh I see what you mean. We have those at my church in the spring time to give away. I do love it when they change colors. My mom told me about the soil too. It is amazing how that can happen. La la la la Nod Is blue one of your favorite colors?

It's not so much that blue is one of my favorite colors, I really like all colors. :D If I HAD to pick a favorite though it'd probably be red, I wear it a lot, etc. It's mostly that I just LOVE blue flowers because you don't see them that often compared to all the other colors! :)

Oh red is a nice color. You do have a point there. Blue is not common in flowers. I do like blue daisy's so I don't see those to much either. Then again I am not sure if they are even a daisy but I they sure look like they are part of that family of flower.

Yeah blue flowers are rare and very beautiful! I also like white flowers, too, there's something soft and sweet about them! Red roses are gorgeous, too! I just love flowers in general, haha! I enjoy gardening and watching things grow. :) Do you ever garden?

Yes some how the blue ones seem to get my attention. Yellow ones are nice and bright, and ill say sunflowers are my second favorite flower of all. Heart Oh yes gardening is fun. My dad was the one who showed me a lot on what to do. He even let me help plant things when I was about 5 or 6 in our front yard. I remember we planted this type of flower. www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h…
It became once of my favorite as a kid. I still like the pansies today. They look like little faces to me. :) (Smile) How long have you been gardening?

Hmmm I'm not sure...they might have come from somewhere else, but maybe grown here too? Let me check :D

So it looks like its actually a native to the US :w00t: The Wiki is a bit confusing but I guess its part of a family that grows in tropical regions...which CA seems to be at times :XD: ;)

:O_o: Also interesting I've never heard of this before but its really amazing is that the passion flower is a symbol of Jesus-- specifically when he was crucified? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passiflo…

Oh so right in our own back yard pretty much. :D

Wow that is something new. I don't not know that either. I wonder if churches use the flower on Easter at all? But still something cool to learn. :)

Ah yeah that is right. And it seems odd with Lilies since they are flowers for morning the lost. Or at least that is what I have heard. Shrug Or maybe remembering the loved ones who have moved on. I guess that is one reason why we use them. At my church we use a lot of different type of flowers on a cross made of green with vines. so its really pretty. Love I think ill take a photo of it this coming Easter.

I want to say Cherry Blossoms, but I'm not sure if it counts.
But if not, I'll have to say Lilies.

Yeah cherry blossoms count as a flower. They are just on a tree is all. I am pretty much saying any flower in the world.
